AVATAR SEASON THREE: FIRE AIRS TONIGHT!!!
YES, I'M YELLING!!!
As I'm sure you all know by now, because I know you read this blog faithfully, me, DH, the kids, and all our real-life friends are Avatar: The Last Airbender geeks here in the Pacific Northwest. It is one of THE BEST anime shows on the planet. Why? Because it's anime written by Americans, so it's full of American humor and body language, and you never find yourself going "What?" because something was lost in translation.
Not to mention that the art is beautiful.
And the storyline kicks ass.
TONIGHT is the premiere of Book III: Fire on Nickelodeon. If you're an Airbender geek like me, you've probably got chills. Watch this teaser trailer and drool, my friends. Aang, Katara, Zuko, Sokka... It's like I'm going to visit old friends I haven't seen in forever. I can't WAIT!!!

SWEEEEEEET Trailer!!! Unfortunately, I'm the only one in my house that likes the series so I've missed A TON.

Avatar Season 3... All I gotta say is it starts out with a BANG!
You're thrown into the action and you've got to wait for the backstory before you know "why" things are the way they are.
I still love the conflicted Zuko. I really hope they redeem him this season. They almost did last season, but... :( He's the anti-hero, but a good guy deep down. I hope they delve into his character a bit more (even if he DOESN'T get together with Katara. HMMF. **crosses arms angrily**)
And Azula... Wow, what a beeyotch. A conniving little witch, ain't she? YAY! We got to see the Firelord for the first time. He's actually a handsome guy, what Zuko would look like without his scar and all grown up and sexy. :P But there is obviously no redemption for the Firelord. No Darth Vader scene at the end of "Jedi" for him.
LOL
And 10 weeks of uninterrupted goodness. I'm wipin' away the drool. I'm such a fangirl.
