This video has recently been circling around the 'Net and certain media circles, but I saw it for the first time today. If you've seen it before, enjoy it again. If you haven't, you'll need a hankie. I've watched it like 5 times already and I'm still balling. Of course, that could be due to hormones... :P

Just in case anyone is wondering about the film quality, this all happened in the late 60's, early 70's. The owners of "Christian" the lion last saw him in 1974, the leader of his own pride, with many little cubs running around. :)
Animals never cease to amaze me. They are obviously more intelligent and more capable of emotion than we've ever given them credit for.

This is an awesome video! Thanks for sharing it. I can guarantee you it wasn't your hormones because I cried too. Just that look when the lion is slowly coming down the hill, the dawn of recognition, and then he starts running towards his old pals . . . what a wonderful reunion. A timeless video.
