Power went out to about 50,000 people, me included. This had nothing to do with the recent storm. It was a strange coincidence, but still!! <BR/><BR/>Our power fluctuated on and off for awhile last night, as PGE, our power company, tried desperately to re-route power through other substations while the fire dept. had to sit back and let the substation burn itself out. Water + Electricity = Nothing Good.<BR/><BR/>Our power has been on for awhile now, but it's still out for many other people, and it might still go out for us since other substations are picking up the slack. But wow, we saw it on the news, all flamey and glowey in the night...<BR/><BR/>It was across the street from the Costco I used to shop at.
